About OKC Ignite

Coach Veronica Austin is a former Langston University standout in both volleyball and basketball, bringing over 15 years of competitive playing and coaching experience to OKC Ignite. She currently serves as the head volleyball coach at Southwestern Christian University, where she continues to develop athletes at the collegiate level. Coach Austin founded OKC Ignite with a clear vision: to build a family-centered club where young athletes develop not just their volleyball skills, but their character, discipline, and confidence. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, high volleyball IQ, and preparing student-athletes for the next level—whether that's high school varsity, college recruitment, or simply becoming a stronger, more resilient person. Under her leadership, OKC Ignite has grown into one of Oklahoma City's most respected youth volleyball programs.
