Code of Conduct
OKC Ignite Volleyball is committed to providing a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all athletes, parents, coaches, and spectators.
Athlete Expectations
- Show respect for coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials
- Attend practices and games on time and prepared
- Give maximum effort in training and competition
- Accept coaching and feedback positively
- Support and encourage teammates
- Represent OKC Ignite with pride on and off the court
Parent/Guardian Expectations
- Support your athlete and the team positively
- Respect coaches' decisions regarding playing time and strategy
- Refrain from coaching from the sidelines
- Model good sportsmanship at all times
- Communicate concerns respectfully and through proper channels
- Ensure timely payment of fees and completion of required forms
Coach Expectations
- Prioritize athlete safety and development
- Provide fair and equal treatment to all athletes
- Communicate clearly with athletes and parents
- Model integrity and sportsmanship
- Create an inclusive and positive team environment
Consequences
Violations of this code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or dismissal from the program depending on severity. Decisions are made by club leadership and are final.
