No! We welcome all skill levels from beginners to experienced players. Our coaches evaluate each athlete during tryouts and place them on teams where they can develop and be challenged appropriately.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot attend the scheduled tryout. We may be able to arrange a makeup evaluation, though we cannot guarantee placement on a team after the main tryout dates.
Teams & Placement
Teams are formed based on tryout evaluations. Coaches consider skill level, athleticism, coachability, and team chemistry when making placement decisions. Our goal is to place each athlete on a team where she can develop and contribute.
We strive to place every athlete who tries out. In cases where we cannot offer a roster spot, we encourage players to keep developing their skills through our clinics and camps, and to try out again next season. We also maintain a waitlist and may reach out if spots become available.
While we understand the desire to play with friends, team placement is based on skill level and what's best for each athlete's development. Playing with athletes of similar ability provides the best environment for growth.
We offer teams at different competitive levels to match each athlete's skill and experience. Higher-level teams typically have more practices, attend more competitive tournaments, and require greater time and financial commitments.
Roster sizes typically range from 10-12 players, depending on the age group and team level. This ensures adequate playing time while maintaining competitive depth.

Travel requirements vary by team level. Local teams primarily compete within driving distance of OKC. Travel teams may have 1-2 overnight tournaments requiring hotel stays. Families are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses.
Tournament schedules are typically released at the beginning of the season. We try to provide as much advance notice as possible so families can plan accordingly. Some schedule changes may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
Tournament attendance is expected as it affects the entire team. Please communicate any conflicts as early as possible. Missing tournaments may affect playing time. We understand emergencies happen and will work with families on a case-by-case basis.
