We're preparing for our 2026-2027 season tryouts. All skill levels are welcome—from first-time club players to experienced athletes looking for elite competition.
What to Expect at Tryouts
Our tryouts are designed to evaluate skill level, athleticism, and coachability. We want to see your daughter at her best—here's how to prepare.
Before You Arrive
- Register online through our website once registration opens
- Get USAV membership (tryout membership is fine)
- Complete medical release form and club waivers
- Pay tryout fee (~$50, non-refundable)
What to Bring
- Volleyball shoes and knee pads
- Plenty of water
- Proof of USAV membership
- Signed medical release form
Typical Tryout Timeline
While exact dates are announced each year, here's the general schedule for tryouts:
Late July
Tryouts for older age groups typically occur in late July, before the school year begins.
Early October
Tryouts for younger age groups are held in early fall, after school volleyball seasons conclude.
Can't Make the Scheduled Tryout?
Contact us as early as possible. We may be able to arrange an alternate evaluation, though this isn't guaranteed and roster spots may fill.
After Tryouts
Notification
Coaches contact players within a few days of tryouts. Official offers are extended on OKRVA's designated "Signing Day."
Team Placement
Players are placed based on age, skill level, and team needs. We may have multiple teams per age group, divided by competitive level.
Accepting an Offer
If offered a spot, you'll receive instructions to accept and pay the initial deposit. This secures your place on the team.
If Not Selected
We notify all participants of their status. If your daughter isn't selected, we encourage her to keep developing for future tryouts.
